Do you remember fidget spinners, the craze of 2017? It is estimated that 19 million fidget spinners were sold worldwide. A craze that only lasted a few weeks and made a handful of entrepreneurs very rich very quickly.
We are always on the lookout for products that could hit a toy trend (let’s see what inflatable armour will be doing in 2019), but we are also interested in products that have more longevity such as environmentally friendly, biodegradable fire extinguishers. If you are near a flame, it makes sense to just use the fire extinguishers you will find under the link above. No need to look what class of fire it could extinguish or for a fire blanket. These green fire extinguishers are one of the most important home appliances you should be having in your home.
With regards to toys, we are already looking for the next fidget spinner, the new trend for the summer of 2019. Surprisingly, hoverboards which were believed to be the trend of 2016 are still popular, particularly popular are hoverkarts which can be attached to hoverboards, or Swegways as they are sometimes called in the UK. From riding hoverboards in Berkshire and Sussex to riding Swegways in Scotland, these electric transports are here to stay.
With regards to electric vehicles, we are noticing a trend in the streets of London, whereby busy city people are starting to roll on motorised kick scooters. Considering that London’s mayor Sadiq Khan is an asthmatic and is making it increasingly difficult and expensive for polluting vehicles, there is a definite trend towards electrisation. One trend we also noticed among cyclists and is a fully reflective jacket. They may not be water proof, but the riders are visible at night as the moon reflects brightly. We bet that this is going to become a fashion and safety trend in 2019.

Fiery fidget spinners: A case of hoverboards part deux?
Remember last year around this time when hoverboards were in the news?
Now it seems like we have a new incendiary threat on our hands with Bluetooth-equipped spinners that play music through built-in speakers.
Unbelievable fidget spinners can catch fire. What to do, Get fire extinguishers children can use?
Before you think of buying your children bluetooth enabled fidget spinners. Think again, you may need to buy fire extinguishers at the same time. The popular fidget spinners were in the news, because over concerns that some can catch on fire.
Recently, two mothers in Michigan and Alabama “reported that their children’s Bluetooth-enabled fidget spinners burst into flames in the past few weeks.” On both occasions, the fidget spinners “were plugged into outlets, and when they caught on fire the toys melted and burned the surfaces they were sitting on.”
According to Kimberly Allums of Gardendale, Alabama, she and her son were preparing to leave home before her son’s fidget spinner caught fire. “[My son] noticed that it burst into flames and he just started screaming.
I was downstairs and all I heard was ‘fire, fire’ and the fidget spinner had literally — it wasn’t smoking, it was in flames,” Allums explained to a TV station. According to the mother, “the spinner was charging for
less than 45 minutes before it caught on fire.”
This latest concern comes on the heels of other worries that the popular toy might be a choking hazard. In fact, there have been so many worries and reports from parents that the World Against Toys Causing Harm (W.A.T.C.H.)
eventually issued warnings about the toy. In fact, in a recent statement the president of the organisation, warned parents not to “be lulled into a false sense of security that a toy is safe simply because it is popular.” The organisation’s warnings aren’t unfounded.
The best fire extinguishers for children
But what can a parent do? We recommend the best fire extinguisher in the world, which was reviewed on Cubwolf and comes from the Tectro range.
Have you taught your children how to properly use a fire extinguisher?
In the past they said
P is for pull the pin of the extinguisher;
A is for aim low;
S is for squeeze the handle; and
S is for sweep from side to side
Not with the fantastic range of Tectro fire extinguishers A child can simply aim it by holding it sideways on the fire from at least 1m away and can extinguish a fire on fidget spinner.
To find out where to buy one, simply go to Hills and Glens
We believe that this advice on fire extinguishers is crucial.
A craze is just like the flu. The fidget spinner craze looks as if it is going to last for a while longer. The fidget spinner madness lasted three months unlike the continuous intereste in segway hoverboard. It was supposed to die a quick dearth, but no, because of innovations and new accessories the lifeline of the segway hoverboard has been prolonged. For a long time Amazon refused to stock hoverboards because of the accidents happening around chargers. Once that was resolved and Amazon had forced every company that wanted to sell on their Amazon marketing platform to apply a certification that is American and is called UL, sales of segway hoverboards were possible.
We love a bit of fun sales drama to start the summer.
Will the summer of 2018 again belong to the hoverboard or is it the summer of the hoverkart. We believe that the hoverkart will be the most successful outdoor toy of the year 2018. Hundreds of thousands of people already own Segway Hoverboards, and the demand for Hoverkarts is increasing. The cost of buying a gokart is too much for parents, but the same thrill can be achieved by attaching a hoverkart to a hoverboard and start roaring and drifting away. Turn your child into a petrol heard or better electro head with one of the Hoverkarts available from the quality Segway Hoverboard site here.
You and your kids will have so much fun rushing through the streets or your garden pretending to be Lewis Hamilton. What are you waiting for? Get one now.
Consumers were spending at Easter, and now we’ve got a fidget spinner craze on our hands.
These facts, in our opinion, can be the only reasons why the pound has not crumpled into a heap since the convincing election of Euro-phile Macron to the presidency of France.
Every year there is a craze, 2016 was the year of the Loomi bands, 2017 will be the year of the fidget spinner.
It has become very difficult to source fidget spinners, so convenience stores and the bit retailers are struggling equally to satisfy demand.
A cheap toy that prevents nail biting is just what I have been waiting for. And it works. I constantly bite my nails. A habit I could never shake off no matter what I tried – hypnosis and glue (don’t ask) were among them. It is only when I am doing something with my hands, like typing, texting, cooking and carrying that I don’t bite my nails. But put me in front of a telly, on the phone, or in front of another person and I start chewing. But since I started using the spinner, I completely stopped!
Apparently, there is research been done that proves that hand spinners prevent nail biting by reducing stress and anxiety. I say it is bleeding obvious that you don’t nibble on your fingernails while there is a spinning device on top of it. Also, even though I cannot say that I feel particularly anxious – I would have done if that Le Pen woman would have won the French election, but that is another story – I think that spinning toy makes me feel better. It just seems to calm me down a little.
How, I cannot say – it just does. Maybe it is that whirring noise? Or because I unconsciously know that I don’t make a pig’s ear out of my hands brings me quiet contentment? No idea. Now, where is my fidget spinner…
